Overview
First introduced in the early 1980s, these engines were the first lightweight air-cooled diesel engines with direct fuel injection. The L Series revolutionised the small dieselengine market with their compactness and extremely smooth running. With output of 3.5 kW - 7.5 kW they are used extensively to power a wide range of construction equipment, portable generators and centrifugal water pumps.
